The Lifetime-sponsored Barnsley Hospice golf day proved to be another tremendous success.

Silkstone Golf Club was again the superb venue for teams from all over the Barnsley borough, who revelled in the convivial atmosphere and raised thousands of pounds for the hospice.

Said Lifetime Director William Bottomley: “This is the eighth successive year that Lifetime has been a sponsor of the hospice golf day – the last seven as main sponsors – and once again it has proved to be a huge success. And the weather was in our favour too!

“Thank you to all the teams and companies who took part and supported the hospice, raising much-needed funds for such a fantastic cause.”

Before the golf swung into action, Lifetime managing director Ian Dickinson presented Barnsley Hospice fundraiser Sam Silverwood (pictured below) with a cheque for £469.65, raised from our hospice referral scheme (https://www.lifetime-fm.com/lifetime-in-driffield/hospice-referral-scheme/).

Lifetime has currently raised just short of £38,000 for 23 different hospices throughout the UK.

There were some terrific prizes on offer for the contestants on the day – with the overall winners being…….Lifetime! The team was made up of MD Ian, director Bill, and guests Pete and John (pictured below). Well done guys!
