Lifetime Financial Planner Simon Snowball says he was ‘humbled’ by his visit to Bradford’s Marie Curie hospice on Friday morning.
Simon (pictured) had gone along to present a cheque for £120 that came from Lifetime’s hospice referral scheme.
Said Simon: “I felt very privileged to be the one to go along to the hospice and hand deliver the cheque.
“The staff were absolutely lovely and they were thrilled to receive the cheque. I was treated to a guided tour around the facilities there and felt humbled.
“They need £9,000 a day just to keep open and carry on delivering their top quality service. So it is great to see that our hospice referral scheme can help play a small part in helping them.”
And making it a hospice double delight, Simon’s Lifetime colleague Andrew Lodge presented another referral scheme cheque (this time £60.81) to Barnsley hospice on Friday lunchtime (picture below).
The Lifetime hospice referral scheme (https://www.lifetime-fm.com/hospice.aspx) is clearly going from strength to strength.
Lifetime MD Ian Dickinson said: “The foundation of our business has always been the relationships we have had with our clients. We have grown through the recommendations and referrals we receive from them.
“We wanted to continue to develop that close relationship and also wanted to give our clients, wherever they live, the opportunity to make a difference to their community. Together, we are making our referral scheme a great way of doing that.”
