Lifetime’s Pension Professionals stand out from the rest!

Lifetime news

We believe that our team of Pension Professionals stand out from the rest.

They certainly do in our new online and social media promotion of them!

The Lifetime specialist pensions department is focussed on providing the best advice possible to our personal and corporate clients. The team (pictured below) has over 150 years of combined experience in the pensions and financial services industry.

Lifetime Pension Dept staff, Dodworth, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, UK.

They are also happy not to take themselves too seriously! Which is rather a good thing, especially when we proposed a ‘social media make-over’ for them!

Now they claim to have no connection to the very famous Simpsons – and insist they have never personally met Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa or Maggie – but after their ‘Turn Me Yellow’ experience our pension team certainly look the part, and would not look out of place on a sofa in the hit TV show!

Perhaps our ‘Yellow Perils’ could even help Homer when he edges closer to retirement! He’d certainly be better off talking to our pension specialists Jeff, Rupert or Steve (pictured below) than his boss at the power plant, Mr Burns!

Lifetime’s Pension Department Manager Tom Nelson (who also got in on the act, see picture below) commented: “When pensions come up in a topic of conversation, people’s faces don’t always look enthralled, especially considering the negative publicity that often comes with it (Philip Green, for example).

“Our aim was to provide an online icebreaker, to create interest and hopefully make people aware of the importance we feel is necessary when it comes to planning your retirement.

“The Simpsons are identifiable across all age groups. We want to engage with everybody, not just people who are retiring – and the hope and aim is to be able to educate people when it comes to their pensions.

“I love it and already have updated my Linkedin profile picture!”

Added Lifetime Communications Director William Bottomley: “Our challenge is always to get difficult and complicated topics such as pensions – to say nothing of the ‘dryness’ of said subject – over to the public in an engaging and unique way.

“We want to pique people’s interest in this vital subject that will affect the rest of their lives – and so if we can get people talking and thinking about pensions through our social media characters then we feel we are doing our bit!”

The new-look Pension Professionals will now be on regular show – via our social media platforms:
